Description

This is a Level 1 course because it is intended for people who have little to no knowledge of SEO and online visibility optimization. We go through the three traditionals areas of SEO for traditional search engines, on-page, technical, and off-page SEO. We also introduce Local SEO, but there is a separate course with more time spent on the aspects of optimizing online visibility for a local business. Please come with a live and current website for your business and working knowledge of the backend of the website.

Requirements: Website, working knowledge of the backend of the website

Focus: Introduction to the basics of “SEO” and optimizing for online visibility within the “new” and changing landscape of search. E.g. an omnichannel approach to online and brand visibility.

Audience: Small and medium sized businesses (SMB), solopreneurs, SMB businesses with an in house marketing team looking upskill, individuals looking to develop their personal brand.

Recommendations

We recommend the following to get the most out of the course content and gaining the skills to really help increase your business’ online and brand visibility.

Come to all live class sessions. This is where all the discussion, presentation of new material will take place.
Do the homework each week. Take the time to do your best. The homework is based on your business so you will be working on your business in each homework assignment.
Use community feature to meet, discuss, exchange ideas and network with others in the course. The best way to learn is learn from and with others who have been where you are or going through what you are too. I will pop in each day and respond to as many questions as possible.
If you need extra help, please feel free to make an appointment. Note, additional one on one consultations sessions are $100/hour.
I will provide an “office hour” during the week for anyone to attend. The time for this hour will be agreed upon by all participants once the course starts.
